Winter Weather Watch (Feb. 2, 2011)
The National Weather Service has extended its Hard Freeze Warning and has issued a Winter Storm Watch for all of Southeast Texas. Extreme low temperatures are expected for the remainder of the week. The district is closely monitoring the weather and addressing issues accordingly. Parents and guardians will be notified as soon as possible if there are any changes to regular school hours through the:
- School Messenger parent notification system,
- District website (www.fortbendisdnews.com) and,
- Local media.
