Houston Texans Mascot promotes Good Health at Mission Bend Elementary School
FORT BEND ISD - The Houston Texans mascot, TORO, recently visited Mission Bend Elementary School students in grades 3-5 to stress the importance of proper exercise and good nutrition in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This was TORO’s third visit to the school to promote his nutrition and fitness program, TORO’s Training Table, which is sponsored by the Houston Texans and BP America. Todd Welch, Physical Education teacher at Mission Bend, helped coordinate the visit.
