FBISD to host Annual Parent Organization and Booster Club Meeting on Saturday, August 4

FORT BEND ISD - Fort Bend ISD will host its annual Parent Organization and Booster Club Meeting on Saturday, August 4, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm in the Main Auditorium of the FBISD Administrative Annex (3119 Sweetwater Blvd, Sugar Land 77479). During the meeting, parents will receive a copy of the FBISD Parent Organization Manual and an overview of the latest guidelines. They will also have the opportunity to hear presentations and ask questions of the following speakers:

• FBISD Police Department officers regarding parent organization and theft prevention in school,
• FBISD Volunteers and Partnerships Coordinator regarding criminal background checks and reporting volunteer hours,
• FBISD Executive Director of Facilities on use of school facilities for non-school purposes,
• Texas Comptroller’s Office representative on 501(c)(3) requirements and IRS tax filings,
• Insurance Agent regarding liability insurance coverage, and
• Junior Achievement representative
