Local Event encourages Discovery, Growth, Advocacy and Community

TEDxSugarLand to be held at Clements High School

FORT BEND ISD ― The TEDxSugarLand inaugural conference will be held on Saturday, August 25, at Clements High School (4200 Elkins Dr., Sugar Land, 77479) beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The day-long event is part of the TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) organization, which is devoted to providing idea sharing in numerous fields.  Speakers will present on such topics as the vastness of the universe, the complexities of our global economy, the emergence of local activism driven by social media, as well as unresolved issues surrounding Alzheimer’s, cancer, autism and design elements of our healthcare system.
