Fort Bend ISD Theater Students to Perform, The Magician's Gambit

FORT BEND ISD - Students at Fort Bend ISD's M. R. Wood Alternative Education Center recently presented their first one-act play, The Magician's Gambit, by Joseph Rodgers. Directed by social studies teacher Edshone Atwood, the play starred Pablo Rodriguez (who played the magician Matthew) and Leslie DeCastro (who performed as Matthew's love interest, Francine). The play told of the trials experienced by the young couple as they tried to wed. The theater group performed before an audience of school and district staff, students and parents.
