Texas health officials delay some immunization requirements until Oct. 1

FORT BEND ISD - Today, the Texas Department of State Health Services issued an emergency rule extending the deadline for some required immunizations until October 1. This emergency rule will permit schools to provisionally enroll students until September 30, 2009, that may not have had the meningococcal, tetanus/diphtheria/pertussis, and varicella vaccines.
