FBISD Zoning Workshop & Public Hearing Update

The Board of Trustees held a zoning workshop during the evening of Sept. 28 following their regularly scheduled business meeting to review zoning options for HS #11 and Elementary #45.  At the conclusion of the workshop, Board members agreed upon a zoning option for Elementary #45.  This option will be shared with the community at a public hearing to be scheduled in the near future.  The option is available for viewing in the link below.

After reviewing several options for HS #11 the Board requested additional information before finalizing a zoning option to share with the community.  Another zoning workshop for HS #11 will be scheduled in the near future.  Once the Board agrees upon a zoning option for the new high school, it will be posted on the website and a public hearing will be scheduled.

The dates of the next Board zoning workshop and public hearings will be publicized once dates have been confirmed.

Attendance zones for Elementary #45 and High School #11 will not be placed on a Board agenda for approval until after the public hearings are held, and the public has the opportunity to provide feedback.
