Fort Bend ISD to hold public hearings to discuss the proposed new zones for High School #11 and Elementary #45 for the 2010-2011 school year

Public hearings are set for Nov. 11 and Nov. 12

FORT BEND ISD ― Two public hearings will be held on Wednesday, November 11, and Thursday, November 12, to review the district’s plans for developing new attendance zones for High School #11 and Elementary #45. Plans for the zone changes will be shown during the first part of the meetings. Afterward, time will be provided to hear citizen comments. Written comment forms will also be available at the hearings.

Two hearings for both High School #11 and Elementary #45 will be held on:

Wednesday, November 11, 7:00 p.m.

in the cafeteria of Hightower High School

3333 Hurricane Lane

Missouri City, Texas 77459, and on

Thursday, November 12 , 7:00 p.m.

in the cafeteria of Schiff Elementary

7400 Discovery Lane

Missouri City, Texas  77459.

The zoning plans (s) are available for viewing on the district website at www.fortbendisd.com. The new attendance zones are planned to be presented to the School Board for approval and will become effective with the start of the 2010-2011 school year.
