Fort Settlement Middle School Employee, Lidia Jimenez, named as FBISD Employee of the Month

FORT BEND ISD — Fort Bend ISD announced that Lidia Jimenez, Lead Custodian at Fort Settlement Middle School, has been named as the first District Employee of the Month. Jimenez will be honored during November 2009 for her unsurpassed commitment to excellence that earned the respect and gratitude of her colleagues and the recognition by the Employee of the Month Committee. She goes above and beyond what’s expected in her position to do an exceptional job. She is a team player and takes great pride in her work.

Lidia Jimenez’s staff is inspired by her work ethic and tireless acts of generosity. She takes a personal interest in the Fort Settlement Middle School staff, students and in the community and always has a smile on her face. She is known for always saying thank you even though the staff at Fort Settlement feels like they should be constantly thanking her. Fort Bend ISD is grateful to Ms. Jimenez for exemplifying the word service and for being a source of motivation for her campus. She truly personifies an outstanding employee.

Ms.Jimenez is shown with flowers she received shortly following the surprise announcement in the library of Fort Settlement Middle School. Principal Julie Diaz and other Fort Settlement staff members were gathered in the library for a meeting and were present when Ms. Jimenez received the exciting news that she was named FBISD Employee of the Month.
