Hightower High School to Present Fences by Award-Winning Playwright, August Wilson

FORT BEND ISD ― The Hightower High School Theatre Arts Department will present the play, Fences, in celebration of American playwright, August Wilson. Fences is part of Wilson’s epic cycle focusing on African American life in the 20^th century and has won a Tony Award for “best play” and a Pulitzer Prize for drama. Hightower theater students will perform the play on Monday, February 22, and Tuesday, February 23, at 7:00 p.m. in the school’s auditorium (located at 3333 Hurricane Lane in Missouri City). Ticket prices are $6 (for adults) and $5 (for students).
