Fort Bend ISD Kindergarten Registration -- April 13, 14, and 15

FORT BEND ISD ― Kindergarten registration dates for the 2010-2011 school year have been set for Fort Bend ISD elementary schools. (Two day-time registration dates will be offered, as well as an evening registration date for parents/guardians who cannot attend the daytime registration dates due to their work schedules.) The dates are as follows:

• Tuesday, April 13 – all elementary campuses (6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.)
• Wednesday, April 14 – all elementary campuses (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
• Thursday, April 15 – all elementary campuses (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

To register a child for kindergarten, parents will need a copy of their child’s birth certificate (or its equivalent), immunization records, social security card (If unavailable, a state ID number will be assigned.), and proof of residence—which should include a deed, lease or mortgage agreement, a current utility bill (gas, water or electric) and an unexpired Texas driver’s license (or other government provided photo ID of the parent or guardian) that contains the FBISD address of the parent or guardian. In addition, a child must be five (5) years of age on or before September 1 to enroll in kindergarten in the state of Texas.
