Clements Junior Recognized for Volunteer Service 

FORT BEND ISD - Kritaarth Mahankali, a junior at Clements High School, received a 2010 Prudential Spirit of Community Award in recognition of his outstanding volunteer service. The award is presented annually by Prudential Financial and the National Association of Secondary School Principals to honor young people across America for outstanding community service activities. Mahankali was honored for his efforts in working with the African Library Project, which helps increase literacy in Africa by creating and improving small community libraries throughout the continent.
