Sartartia Jaguars Win 1st Place in District’s First Middle School Algebra Quiz Bowl

FORT BEND ISD - Fort Bend ISD recently held its first Middle School Algebra I Quiz Bowl that welcomed teams from all 13 FBISD schools. Utilizing video-conferencing equipment, teams connected to the Internet at their home campus to complete each round of the tournament. After three rounds of competition, Garcia and Sartartia Middle Schools tied. In the end, The Sartartia Jaguars won the tournament on a tie-breaker question during the Challenge Round. Representing the Sartartia team were: Alex Vuong, Juan Saez, Russell Kan, Cindy Chong, Karan Patel, David Nie and Denise Lin.
