FBISD Bus Drivers Compete in Regional School Bus Road-e-o

FORT BEND ISD - Four Fort Bend ISD school bus drivers--Quinton Ard (Hodges Bend Terminal), and Charles Baker, Alcus Jacob, and Chasen Williams (Lake Olympia Terminal)--recently competed in the 2010 Region IV School Bus Road-e-o to showcase their driving knowledge and skills. The competition was held at the HISD Northwest Transportation Center and included a general knowledge test, vehicle inspection test, and various driving events (including offset alley, straight line, back up alley, parallel parking, and curb line). Alcus Jacob earned second place in the regional competition and has advanced to the State School Bus Road-e-o, which will be held on June 18, in Arlington, Texas.
