FBISD’s Safe and Drug-Free Staff Honors Community Partners

FORT BEND ISD - May 25 was a day of celebration for Fort Bend ISD’s Safe and Drug-Free Schools Staff, who hosted their annual Community Partner Reception in honor of their outstanding community partners. The staff presented certificates of appreciation to community partners and shared with guests the importance of each partnership and the role partners have in supporting FBISD students and schools.

Throughout the past few years, the Safe and Drug-Free Schools staff has established several successful partnerships that continue to benefit FBISD students and schools. The 2009-2010 Safe and Drug-Free Schools Community Partners include: the American Diabetes Association, the Anti-Defamation League of Houston, Crisis Intervention of Houston, Inc., Fort Bend County Health and Human Services, Fort Bend County Women’s Center, the Fort Bend Exchange Club, Fort Bend Juvenile Probation, Fort Bend Regional Council, The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, Houston Museum of Natural Science at Sugar Land, Lifetouch Photography, Memorial Hermann Hospital, Methodist Hospital, The Oliver Foundation, Sugar Land Town Square Management, and Tobacco Free Fort Bend.
