Five Fort Bend ISD High Schools Make Newsweek’s “America’s Best High Schools” 2010 List

FORT BEND ISD ― Newsweek recently released the 2010 list of America’s Best High Schools, naming five Fort Bend ISD high schools among the top 1,622 schools in the nation. The five Fort Bend ISD high schools ranked this year are: Clements High School (No. 314), Austin High School (No. 823), Elkins High School (No. 916), Dulles High School (No. 943), and Kempner High School (No. 1093).

The schools listed in the America’s Best High Schools 2010 report represent only six percent of all American public high schools. Rankings are determined by a combination of their number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate or Cambridge (AICE) tests given at the schools, compared to the number of graduation seniors.
