Fort Bend ISD to Host Annual Meeting for Parent Organizations and Booster Clubs – Saturday, August 7

FORT BEND ISD -- On Saturday, August 7, 2010, Fort Bend ISD will host a meeting at the FBISD Administration Annex Auditorium (located at 3119 Sweetwater Blvd., Sugar Land, 77479), from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for all officers of FBISD parent organizations and booster clubs.

Participants will receive a FBISD Parent Organization Manual and review the latest district guidelines, and listen to and ask questions of the following speakers: 1) FBISD Police Department on Parent Organization/Booster Club safety procedures, 2) Texas Comptroller’s representative on sales tax compliance, 3) Certified Public Accountant on 501 (c) (3) requirements and IRS tax filings, and 4) Insurance Agent on the liability insurance coverage.
