Patriotic Parade Held by Fort Bend ISD Summer Program Youth

FORT BEND ISD ― Youngsters enrolled in the English as a Second Language, Bilingual, and Newcomer Summer School Program at Ridgemont Elementary School celebrated Independence Day by taking part in a festive parade. As patriotic music played, the youngsters marched along the school hallways with banners, flags, noise makers and other items that they crafted to celebrate the Fourth of July. Following the parade, the students cooled off by taking part in a Popsicle party, hosted by H.E.B. Sienna Market.
